Who can apply for citizenship
You must meet certain eligibility requirements and submit an application for citizenship.
To become a citizen of Canada, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- Be a permanent resident
- Have lived in Canada for 3 out of the last 5 years
- Have filed your taxes (If you need to)
- Pass a Citizenship test of Canada
- Proven proficiency in the language
